What Is Will Be - a 'Snowfox' recap

When life gets too much or too hectic I can oftentimes retreat into becoming negative, anxious and over-analyse minutiae that doesn’t warrant that treatment. As I continue to get older and (somewhat!) wiser, I am more aware of what a problematic line of thinking that is to follow… as well as how harmful it is. So, when finishing writing the ‘Apollo’ collection [released last year], I wanted to bookend the ‘eventful twenties’ chapter of my life by looking forward and being deliberately more hopeful. After all, what are we without hope? So this was my tribute to that.

We can all do with gentle reminders from time to time that “Hey, it’s gonna be okay. What I’m going through right now isn’t going to last forever despite it feeling like it will. I’m still control of my life, but I can’t change things that I have no control over. To be here, alive, in the first place is such a beautiful gift - one so easy to overlook - and it doesn’t last forever, so let’s make the best of it!” in our darkest moments. ‘What Is Will Be’ is my attempt at honouring our emotional vulnerabilities and our continued hoping for a better tomorrow.
